Coast Is Clear is an initiative that connects volunteers to local clean up efforts to help rid the environment of microplastics.
As plastic waste finds its way to the ocean, they break down into smaller pieces instead of breaking down entirely, creating microplastics. These microplastics are then consumed by animals, which then goes through the ecosystem and makes its way back to us. Coast Is Clear emphasizes the way microplastics harm the Earth and fosters ways for volunteers to help counteract their effects.
